Heart Condition

If you looked into your heart,
What would you see?
Love for your fellow man,
And all your family?

Compassion for the lost,
And tears for their sin?
Hope that they'd soon open their heart,
And let the savior in?

Would you see the blood Jesus applied,
When He came into your heart?
Or would it be black as coal,
Hardened from the start?

So take a look and see today,
What condition your heart's in.
I pray it's covered with the blood,
And Jesus lives within.
