To See Jesus

As I sit and read my Bible.
I think how wonderful to be;
In the crowd listening to Jesus preach,
Underneath a tree.

To actually have seen his face;
To take hold of His hand.
To live in the days He walked on earth.
To view Him as a man.

But as I read on, I have found,
Even though right now He's gone.
There are promises I can claim.
His face I'll see in the great beyond.

What great joy and hope it brings,
To know that one day soon.
He'll be coming in the air.
The bride will meet the groom.

Oh how I look forward to that day.
When I'll meet Him in the sky.
To talk to him face to face,
To look into His eyes.

I can not think of anything ,
That would bring me more joy.
Than to be with Him forever more.
To live eternally in glory!
