CHILD OF GOD

How can I be sitting in a crowded room
and feel so alone?
How can so many people be talking around me
yet I have no one to talk to?
How can there be so many hands here
but I feel none reaching out to me?

In this world these feelings
are all too real
even as a Christian,
this is sometimes how we feel

But as a child of God
we have someone to talk to
And as a child of God
we have someone holding out His hands to us
And as a child of God
we are NEVER alone

I am so glad to be a CHILD OF GOD
And that my HEAVENLY FATHER
is ALWAYS there
