Out of Darkness

It seems darkness is all around me
as I came to this place
All the things I've done wrong in my life
they've come up in my face

Then out of the darkness
a Holy Light I did see
and in this shining light
a hand is holding out to me

A Voice says, my child
come out from dark sin
I can fill you with my light
letting it shine from within

I grab hold of that hand
and then I realize
that the decision I've made
is indeed very wise

For you see I didn't
just give Jesus my hand
I gave Him my heart
and my life to command
