I Don't Understand
 
Jesus, please forgive my anger
I do not understand
Why children are taken
All across the lands

My heart is breaking
I'm boiling inside
Alone in my silence
I can hear Mother's cry

The children are innocent
So trusting and pure
Yet evil ones keep watch
Our Children they lure

Schoolyards, backyards
Should be a safe place
Yet Children are stolen
Even from beds

I can't comprehend these
Terrible acts
And pray that the missing
Will safely come back

With so many missing
And to many dead
I can't help this anger
Inside of my head

Who could be so evil
To snatch them away
Please make it stop
I humbly pray
Amen
