The Only Way

Dry your tears and cry no more
just turn to God and pray
he will lift your troubles
wash the blues away

When it seems no ears will listen
surely he will hear
he walks along beside you
his presence always near

Take his hand for comfort
let him lead the way
turn to him for guidance
if you fall astray

Follow in his footsteps
be the best that you can be
never let go, hold on tight
to what you do believe

Others may try and sway you
attack with hurtful words
stand your ground and speak up
let your voice be heard

Dry your tears and listen
to what I have to say
turn to God for comfort
it's the only way

Let him wrap his arms around you
feel his love within
accept him as you Savior
your rebirth will begin
