It Is Done

It is done,
in the day of God's amazing grace.
An angel appeared before Jesus,
Watching Him with care;
For Jesus had nothing
To eat, nor drink, for forty days,
As He was saying the prayers.
Everything remarkable was falling into place
From beginning's time, until death, He knows.
His end will come, to finally meet with His Father.
Oh, how graced His heart is weeping
For the people He must save,
To gain everlasting life!
Time is short, the angel said.
And, after forty days, forty nights,
Jesus raised His eyes toward His Father, and
Prayed, one more time, for spiritual strength...
'It's time to meet Jerusalem's due',
His Father said, 'and My Will, soon, will be done'.
