Tender Blooms

Dogwood's tender blooms enlighten my eyes
Covering my soul from your raining skies
Life awakens into love's spring-time bloom
And I bless the songs of your by-and-by's

My wonder grows like mother's womb
And gives way to your loving room
While I am but still young and not afraid
Sitting pillows in heaven will never see gloom

Wrap me over from forensic tell-tales
For hopes and wonders will never lose trail
With joy you'll always be in me, I sing
To wait resurrection's spring soon enthrall'd

In future's bloom, God's love keeps bringing
This rose upon your vines , and waking
I walk'd into thoughts of birthing's brink
Seeing how often sun made gloom drink

Upon the trellis your rose now candescent
Gathering all of your soul and spirit
To keep sweet tender blooms forever innocent
I'm sitting upon angel's pillows, your heaven's scent
